The new release includes more ways to customize Salesforce Go, better tools for managing employees, and improved accessibility features, such as the ability to reflow content at high zoom levels and better contrast styling. Salesforce also made certificates expire more quickly and introduced a new My Trust Center to monitor system health.
Salesforce Go Customization
You can now customize the Salesforce Go home page by moving or removing sections. With new filters for different industries, you can easily find features related to sectors like Banking or Health. You can also use an improved search to see the differences between features with similar names.
Unified Employee Management
You can now set up Salesforce users with Unified Employee licenses as employee users. It will help you gather more details for your reports, such as employee status and number. This change applies to Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited editions.
Certificates Expire Faster
You will need to replace security certificates more often. This change affects everyone in the industry, not just Salesforce. Salesforce will also stop sending updates when it changes its certificates. To receive notifications about future certificate expirations, ensure the Expired Certificate Notification permission is granted to specific admins.
Reflow and High Magnification
To meet WCAG 2.2 standards, Salesforce is adding "reflow" features. Now, when users zoom in up to 400%, page headers, modal windows, and cards will move or wrap instead of blocking content or forcing horizontal scrolling.
Contrast Styling
Salesforce has changed how it highlights selected text. Now, it will use your browser's default style instead of its own. This change aims to ensure sufficient color contrast for everyone to read clearly.
My Trust Center (Beta)
Salesforce My Trust Center, previously known as Personalized Trust, is a secure site that shows the status of your specific Salesforce products. You can sign up for notifications about maintenance updates and view a complete history of any system incidents for the past year.
Salesforce Sales Cloud Spring ’26 Release: What Changed
Agentforce Sales is the new name for Sales Cloud. It now features AI agents that can help generate new leads, nurture relationships, and manage sales. The update improves Einstein Conversation Insights by storing data directly in Salesforce. It also adds new bulk actions for territories in Enablement programs and introduces features for territory planning, including shared boundaries and quota planning aligned with alignment.
Sales Cloud Is Now Agentforce Sales
Salesforce is integrating AI agents into its products, with a particular focus on Sales Cloud, which has the most processes. It means AI agents will now handle some tasks in Sales Cloud that Agentforce previously handled. As a result, Salesforce is shifting from a "Cloud" focus to "Agentforce" to emphasize that the platform is centered around autonomous AI agents.
Agentic AI Features in Salesforce Sales Cloud Spring Release ‘26
Effective Inbound Lead Generation with Agentforce Sales
Agentforce Inbound Lead Generation automatically captures leads from websites and messaging channels, answers questions, and schedules meetings. If a prospect doesn't schedule a meeting, the system will pass the lead to the Lead Nurturing agent for follow-up.
The Agentforce Qualification agent checks how well a prospect matches a company’s Ideal Customer Profile by analyzing conversation data. It then rates the lead and creates tasks for sellers to follow up on "Hot" leads.
Lead Nurturing with Agentforce Sales
Agentforce makes it easier to set up Lead Nurturing in Salesforce Go. It provides a step-by-step guide for automating the assignment of permissions and the creation of user records.
The agent now has Automatic Limit Management. This feature helps organize the outreach queue to stay within email and AI processing limits. Sellers can assign prospects to the nurturing agent in bulk, with up to 200 at a time from list views.
The agent’s workflow is now modular. It means that administrators can easily set up and edit topics and actions for better customization.
Agentforce Sales Management
The Agentforce Sales Management agent can now analyze conversations and call transcripts. It can also listen to voice calls. After a meeting, it suggests the best actions, like sending follow-up emails or scheduling new meetings.
The Agentforce Account Management AI can help you research the account company, understand its business priorities, and learn about industry trends. This information will prepare you for sales meetings.
You can now find these management agents in Slack. It lets you update opportunities and research accounts without leaving the Slack interface.
Insights from Einstein Conversations for Agentforce Sales
ECI now combines summaries of voice and video calls into a single feature, with helpful insights.
Salesforce has also added Vendor Transcript Processing, making it easier for your team to access call summaries and important insights from calls.
Einstein Conversation Insights (ECI) data is now stored directly on the Salesforce platform. It means you can easily access it for standard reports and automate processes using Flow and Apex. Current customers can migrate to Salesforce starting in Summer 2026. If you were using Analytics for Conversation Insights, please note that it will be retired in Summer 2026.
Bulk Actions Based on Territory in Enablement Programs
Administrators can now easily assign users to Enablement programs based on their roles in a territory model. When specific roles in the territory are connected, any user with those roles will be automatically assigned, saving you from having to assign them manually.
Bulk Removal of Users in Enablement
Salesforce has launched a new tool that helps administrators remove multiple users from Enablement programs at once. This feature lets you easily filter users by their profile, role, or public group. Using this tool, you can quickly remove users in bulk, saving time and reducing manual work.
The Shared Boundaries feature is now available for modeling in densely populated areas.
Territory Planning now allows shared boundaries. It means a single boundary, like a postal code, can be assigned to multiple sales areas. This feature is designed for complex markets, such as large cities, where sales areas often overlap.
Quota Planning Based on Territory Alignment
Organizations can now create quota plans based on their current territory alignments. This integration keeps quota assignments and territory models in sync. If the territory hierarchy changes, the system will highlight the issue and request an update.
Experience Cloud Updates in Salesforce Spring Release 26 Overview
Experience Cloud now enhances search engine visibility through Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and supports dynamic redirect rules for Aura sites. Salesforce has expanded Lightning Web Components (LWC), introduced personalized task reminders, and streamlined custom domain management. File management is also improved with additional “Delete” access levels and increased file size limits up to 10 GB.
Experience Cloud Sites are now easier to find with GEO optimization.
Administrators can now enable Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) to help AI-powered search engines, such as ChatGPT, find public site pages more easily. This setting lets AI bots request content snapshots, which helps them provide more accurate answers based on the site's data.
Redirects on Aura Websites
You can now use dynamic redirect rules on Aura sites, just like you could on LWR sites. It helps administrators easily send users to different URLs based on specific patterns, without writing any code.
After the session ends, users are redirected back to the previous page.
Authenticated users on LWR sites will now return to the exact page they were on before their session ended. Previously, users were taken back to the Home page when they logged back in.
Expanded Components for Light Water Reactors (LWR)
Salesforce has expanded the allowed tags and attributes in the HTML Editor components, offering more design options. Sixteen standard components, including banners, buttons, and videos, are now available for all Lightning Web Runtime (LWR) sites, regardless of whether the organization has an active Community license.
Customized Task Reminders for Users
Salesforce has introduced new home page features: the Pending Task banner and the Activity Timeline. These tools help users track recent activities and see important tasks right after logging in.
Revised Request for Approval
Visitors to the site can now submit records for approval directly from the object detail page using the new Request Approval feature.
Easier Management of Custom Domains
Organizations that use third-party services for custom domains can now use their My Domain login URL as a stable target host name. It ensures that your custom domain continues to work properly even when Salesforce updates its infrastructure, preventing downtime during maintenance.
Only the specified favicon is now displayed
Visualforce sites can now have an empty Site Favorite Icon field. This small icon shows up in browser tabs, bookmarks, and search results for your site. Earlier, if no icon were chosen, users would see the Salesforce logo instead.
Salesforce has improved its file management features
Salesforce has a new security feature that scans uploaded or downloaded files for viruses and malware. It helps block harmful files from entering the system right away.
The maximum file size you can upload to the Files home and libraries is now 10 GB, up from 2 GB.
Additionally, administrators can give users a "Delete Salesforce Files" permission. It lets users delete any file they can view, even if they do not own it.
Changes to Agentforce and Einstein in the Salesforce Spring '26 Release
You can no longer create connected apps in Salesforce, so we suggest switching to external client apps. However, current apps will still work as before. This release includes updates to agent topics and actions across various clouds. Agents using the new Agentforce Builder can now access knowledge from assigned data libraries.
Connected apps cannot be created
Starting with the Spring ’26 release, you cannot create connected apps anymore. It is best to move your connected apps to external client apps. Existing connected apps, including those for Slack in the old Agentforce Builder, will still work.
Revised List of Agent Topics and Actions
Salesforce updated the topics and actions for existing and new agents in Field Service, ESG Data Collection, FinServ Package, Nonprofit, Sales, and more.
Link Agents to Your Knowledge Sources in the Agentforce Builder
Agents created with the new Agentforce Builder can now use the knowledge you’ve added to their assigned data library. It helps them provide accurate, up-to-date responses that meet your business needs.
Salesforce Spring '26 Release Notes for Developers
The new release includes tools to manage non-fatal errors with the Error Console, a Beta feature called RunRelevantTests for faster deployments, and support for using complex expressions in Lightning Web Components (Beta). Other updates feature easier PDF generation from Apex, now available Apex cursors, new Apex Agent Actions for Agentforce, and an improved sandbox copy user interface with visual progress tracking.
Managing Issues with the Error Console
You can now manage errors easily in the Error Console without interruptions. The console gathers non-fatal errors for you to review later, and they don’t require your immediate attention. However, fatal errors still appear in pop-up panels that you must close before you can continue working. Fatal errors are also saved in the Error Console for you to check later.
Optimize Your Time by Running Only Relevant Tests (Beta)
Salesforce has introduced a new feature called RunRelevantTests. This feature runs only the tests needed for your code changes, which can greatly speed up the deployment of Apex components. It automatically determines which tests to run based on the deployment details and their related components. To give developers better control, new annotations are available in API version 66.0 and later. These help manage how tests behave and allow for fine-tuning specific testing aspects.
Complex Expressions in Lightning Web Components (Beta)
Lightning Web Components (LWC) were designed to be simple. Initially, templates could only use properties and getters. Now, this design is changing. LWC templates can now handle more complex expressions, which expands what developers can do with the framework. For more details about these new features, check the official Salesforce release notes.
Create a PDF directly from Apex, which will be mandated starting in Summer '26
Salesforce is updating the Apex Blob.toPdf() method to use the Visualforce PDF rendering service instead of the old engine. This update will improve font support, making it easier to display characters from different languages. The new system will also provide consistent PDF rendering across the Salesforce Platform. Developers can expect more reliable PDF generation and better language support.
Apex Cursors and Pagination Cursors
Cursors now help manage large SOQL query results more efficiently than batch Apex. Standard cursors let you easily process records within queueable Apex chains. Pagination cursors are designed to navigate lists of records that span multiple pages in user interfaces.
Apex Agent Activities
Developers can now allow Agentforce agents to use Apex REST and AuraEnabled controller methods as independent actions. They can do this by adding specific tags to the methods and deploying a generated OpenAPI specification to the API Catalog.
Limits on SOQL Results in Data 360
To ensure server stability, Data 360 limits SOQL query results to 12 MB. If your query exceeds this limit, it will be rejected. Developers must then use “query more” links to navigate the data in smaller chunks.
Refined User Interface for Sandbox Copy
The setup interface for sandbox copies and refreshes has been updated. It now includes a visual progress bar and provides real-time status updates for each stage.
Self-Service Subscriber Troubleshooting
Partners can now access a subscriber’s Apex debug logs directly through the License Management App (LMA). This makes it easier to troubleshoot customer issues quickly, without needing help from the subscriber’s admin.
Salesforce Spring Release ‘26: Marketing Cloud Updates
Marketing Cloud is now called Agentforce Marketing. Users can create campaign briefs by using simple language questions and a chatbot. Agentforce Marketing automatically matches the brand and can support up to 50 business units. Account Engagement adds dashboards that show combined engagement history in Tableau Next and allows sharing marketing templates across locations. Marketing Cloud Engagement lets users send emails based on flows and includes a retry option for delivery for up to 7 days.
Marketing Cloud Next (Agentforce Marketing)
Marketers can use an Agentforce conversation to create and review campaign briefs and complete campaign plans. It lets you return to the brief at any time to refine the structure and content before finalizing the campaign.
The Campaign Creation Agent can automatically create steps for a campaign across multiple channels, including specific email and SMS message flows.
Agents can now create marketing briefs using uploaded strategic documents, such as PDFs or Word files. Once these documents are in Salesforce Files, agents can reference them in prompts to ensure alignment with company strategy.
If you are handling a lot of documents in Salesforce and need to extract data automatically, Codleo has created a document abstraction framework. This tool is designed to improve document processing efficiency.
AI-generated campaign drafts now automatically match the brand's tone and identity. It means you won’t need to edit the output yourself to fit the brand’s voice.
New fields have been added to the Brief object, including primary goals, KPIs, and brand guardrails. These additions help Agentforce better understand context, leading to more focused decisions and fewer generic AI responses.
The platform now allows up to 50 business units. A new action, Identify Business Unit, helps determine what an agent can do during an active session.
Marketers can add third-party tools, like generative AI, translation services, and tone enhancers, directly into their writing workspace. These tools appear in a floating panel for easy access.
Marketing Cloud Account Engagement
Salesforce has launched new dashboards that show engagement history in one place. With Tableau Next, you can see all interactions for leads, contacts, and accounts. These dashboards provide quick, useful marketing insights from your Salesforce CRM records.
Marketing teams can now share approved email, SMS, and WhatsApp templates with Salesforce users. This feature, called Distributed Marketing and Alerts, makes collaboration easier and smoother.
To ensure compliance, the platform now lets marketers match email marketing consent between Account Engagement prospects and Marketing Cloud Next records. To track changes in overall email consent between these two apps, turn on Consent Matching in the Account Engagement Settings tab within the Lightning App.
Marketing Cloud Engagement in Salesforce Spring Release ‘26
Marketing specialists can now send engagement emails using flows. They can also create email templates that users can lock for their own use and view combined reports in context.
If a user does not receive an email, the system will now have up to 7 days to resend it. Only after this period will it notify the user about the failed attempt. Before, the process stopped immediately after a delivery failure.
Salesforce Spring Release ‘26: Flows Updates Overview
Flow Builder now lets you collapse branches, making it easier to navigate your flows. You can also update flows using natural language prompts from Agentforce. This update adds new visualization tools, including Kanban boards, file previews, flow version comparisons, and on-canvas performance metrics that display run counts and status breakdowns.
Collapsible Branching Sections
Now, users and admins can collapse or expand elements like Decisions, Loops, and Waits to keep the canvas simple. The builder remembers these layout changes in your browser, so when you return to a complex flow, it stays organized and less cluttered.
Iterative Flow Development with Agentforce
You can use natural language prompts in the Agentforce panel to change existing record-triggered and schedule-triggered flows. It lets you add, change, or remove elements without needing to drag and drop manually. The changes you make will be highlighted on the canvas, making them easy to review.
Enhanced Navigation and Context Variability
The canvas now allows you to pan using mouse scrolling, trackpads, and arrow keys. It replaces the previous “grab and move” method. You can also hover over info bubbles for action inputs and subflow variables to see their full descriptions, without enabling the resource or opening a menu.
Overrides for Component-Level Styling
You can create a more personalized experience by changing the default themes of your organization or site within a screen flow. New options in the Style tab let you customize the background colors, border thickness, text colors, and button shape for each component.
New Message Screen Component
This component lets you add clear, accessible alerts that display different message types, such as information, success, error, or warning. The message type automatically determines the color and icon used, keeping accessibility in mind.
Support for Additional Objects in Record-Triggered Flow
We have improved our automation system to serve customers better. You can now set up flows that trigger when a Prospect, Lead, or Contact record changes, or when any related record is modified. For example, you can automatically send a personalized follow-up email to a contact when a related Case is closed, or notify a lead owner when an associated Opportunity moves to a new stage.
Kanban Boards in Screen Flows (Beta Version)
Users can now see records displayed as cards in columns that show different stages of a workflow. This component is read-only and allows for grouping by picklist fields. Each card can show up to five fields, creating a dashboard-like experience within a flow.
Native File Previews
The new File Preview feature lets users view documents directly within the flow screen. It removes the need to download files before making approval or review decisions.
Compare Different Versions of the Flow
A new tool lets admins track changes between any two versions of a screen flow. It shows what elements, resources, and styles were added, updated, or removed. Admins can share the results using a direct link.
Visualization of Performance on Canvas
You can now see flow performance metrics right on the Flow Builder canvas. Supported elements display total run counts and status distributions, making it easy to spot performance issues without running external reports.
Run Analytics by Version Level
New analytics give a clear view of completion rates and status for specific flow versions. It allows admins to monitor the overall health of each version and identify common issues affecting many users simultaneously.
