Marketing is a dynamic process that sees constant changes and upheaval. A marketer must be agile and adept at change. If they don’t embrace change, then they are likely to come cropper. To help marketing teams, we have assembled what we feel are trends that will shine in 2023 and beyond. These trends are:

  • Onboarding and learning marketing tech tools. Marketing in the 21st century is a different ball game altogether, say Salesforce partners. The onboarding of digital tools meant for marketing has been a game changer. Anyone who wishes to be an ace marketer must have a proper marketing tech stack. Otherwise, it’s time to lose the game. Besides onboarding tech tools such as Salesforce’s marketing cloud and so on, they need to learn and master these tools.  If the same is not done, then the benefits of these tools don’t accrue. What a pity, says Best Salesforce Partners. In such a scenario, trainers need to be called in to teach the marketing team and allies departments the basics, ins and outs of them.

  • Focused and personalized engagement is the way forward. The days of “one message for all” are over smiling Salesforce partners. Into the dustbin of time. These days, thanks to the plethora of client data collected from a variety of sources, it is being put to good use. A persona of each lead/client is created. This leads to messaging each person in a way that is relatable, relevant, and focused. For example, a bald person does not need messaging related to hair oils, combs, etc. Wigs could be ideal for the demographic state of Salesforce partners.

  • Reliance on data sources other than cookies. Now that third-party cookies are fading away, marketing teams are moving to the information given by clients ( known as zero-party data) & data companies sourced from clients ( known as first-party data ). This is a good development with marketing teams in control. They are now able to curate effective engagement with Salesforce partners. This is a better return on their investment and leads to better revenue generation. Most companies have moved in large numbers to work with first-party data as modifications to privacy regulations & data transparency gain ground. The need for a tech tool that collates all the data and makes sense of it is also a trend that companies with marketing teams need to look at urgently. Data is king, say Salesforce Implementation Partners

  • Collaboration with tech tools. With remote working becoming commonplace, companies are onboarding a host of tech tools that facilitate collaboration & communication between personnel and teams. These include technologies such as Zoom, channel-based collaboration platforms such as MS Teams that we have for our staff, instant messaging apps & social networks. These need to be used by all levels of personnel to make it a success. Learn more from Salesforce Consulting Partners
