Artificial Intelligence refers to the concept where machines “think like human beings”.  Machines are able to perform tasks like reasoning, planning, learning, and understanding language.  It works on a technology known as “machine learning”. Machine learning is the concept of having computers learn from data with minimal programming. This is not to say that AI is going to replace humans and their brains anytime soon.  It just makes our jobs easier and more productive.  Artificial Intelligence or AI will be commonplace in our work lives and everyday experience is it in the workflow, process automation, guided selling, customer communication, and customer data platforms, AI will be everywhere.   

New trends related to AI and its usage come into being time and again. Here we are evaluating trends for 2022 and beyond that will create ripples. 

• AI is more productive when it is able to rely on extensively available context.  If the model is superior, the incoming collated data is clean and relevant which leads to better qualitative outcomes to the satisfaction of all. The more data is available with clarity & details the better AI can do its job. 

• Clients have become very demanding these days and expect all brands to up their game.  Natural language processing (NLP) is an important tool to make it happen. With nearly 100 trillion data points to use, comprehension of what the user is articulating and being steps ahead with the appropriate responses is what separates AI that provides mundane answers versus intuitive AI which is a power player. 

• AI will be a useful asset to help people in their jobs. Instead of AI being seen as a menacing evil intangible enemy taking over jobs worldwide, AI will be deployed to help companies, their employees become more productive by automation of mundane & repetitive tasks, Employees can turn their attention to important and helpful tasks that will lead to an increase in their morale & satisfaction. This in turn will lead to relief in the HR department and management as they will be able to retain talent. 

• Cyber security enhanced thanks to AI capabilities. Data leakage, breech, and theft are all commonly used terms in today’s world. Everyone is scared and is taking extra steps to ensure the same. AI is increasingly being roped in as a defense mechanism. With data hackers using the latest tech tools to attacks systems, forecasting challenges is important to increasing AI’s potential.
