TIPS FOR LEAD NURTURING FOR NEW BUSINESSES

Opened or thinking of opening a new business? Brimming with solutions, services, or products that you feel are waiting to be lapped up by eager consumers? The moot question at the beginning is how to spread the word, draw leads, and nurture them to become paying customers.   1. Communicate directly with each lead. There is no solution to this tip. Each lead needs to feel special and respected, and the only way to do so is to create a team that will engage with each lead through a medium of their choice. Communication can take place on social channels, email, cell phones, or even in-person to understand their requirements. This approach results in a higher percentage of conversions to clients.

  2. Leverage the force of LinkedIn. The numero uno social media platform is also a great place to market yourself, especially if you are in the B2B domain. It is established that the average LinkedIn user has higher purchasing power as compared to users of other social media sites.  Conversations with people in your target audience, interacting with their posts, and privately writing to them to talk about your product or service are good ways to get business leads on LinkedIn. You could even shell out the dough for lead generation ads that contain forms right within the ad.  Thus, those who wish to know more or sign up for your products / services have it easy. 

  3. Pay-per-click advertising. It is a web-based advertising model in which advertisers pay each time someone clicks on any of their online advertisements. There are different types of PPC ads, but the most popular one is the paid search ad. These ads appear when users browse search engines like Google for products or services. Thus, a new business can use this service to their advantage, as they only pay when a person clicks on their online advertisement. 

  4. Referrals and referrals.  Getting your initial customers to spread the word or endorse your services always works.  Genuine endorsements by real people always lure leads and help in getting them to join your growing army of clients. If you have clients who are delighted with your services, ask them to refer connections in their professional / social networks. 

  5. Consider writing as a guest blogger. You can put your writing skills to the test by reaching out to bloggers that are pertinent to your industry, etc. but are not your rivals. Getting backlinks from your blog, podcast, / influencer is important, as it helps your website's ranking increase quicker. Ensure that the website you plan on blogging on is related to both your industry and geography so that you can benefit from the same. 

  6. SE0 and SEM. For owners of any new business, these two acronyms need to become an intrinsic part of their marketing strategy. Ensure your brand is ranked highly on the internet so that it gets more eyeballs, clicks, and attention. Hiring a digital marketing professional, team, or partnering with a company to leverage SEO and SEM on your website is a good strategy that needs patience and time.
