SALESFORCE PURCHASING AIRKIT

Salesforce has announced that they are on the road to acquire Airkit.ai, a company that provides code-free client agent bots, focused on commerce engagement, with the help of Best Salesforce Partners. Airkit.io provides an easy-to-use AI Agent (chatbot) platform with a focus on the commerce industry say the Best Salesforce Partners. It provides replies to questions on things like order status, returns, order problems, or item support. Fuelled by OpenAi’s GPT-4, Airkit.io’s platform focus is addressing client queries before, with a mission to address over 90% of client queries instantly.  Till some time ago, Airkit.ai provided a low-code platform for syncing reams of disconnected data into a smooth service across all channels, supporting and helping the customer service team. It's now rebranded from Airkit to Airkit.ai, unveiling the new GPT -4-fuelled client service solution.

Launched in 2017 by Adam Evans & Stephen Ehikian, it is their second venture purchased by Salesforce Inc, with “RelateIQ” entering the Salesforce multiverse for USD 390 million way back in 2014.  Salesforce is a player in the chat market, with businesses proudly implementing & using their Live Agent feature that syncs seamlessly into Service Cloud, via Best Salesforce Partners. Salesforce also fielded Einstein Bots in 2018, which like Airkit.ai, offers a low-code platform to build automated customer agent experiences. Einstein Bots is the result of an acquisition drive of Salesforce in 2016, with 10 plus AI startups being acquired that year reveal Best Salesforce Partners. Whilst Einstein Bots offers a simple platform for clients to get replies to their questions faster, it’s quite basic as opposed to the generative AI movement we are in the midst of, courtesy of OpenAI.

With the Slack acquisition in 2021 for USD 27.7 billion, Salesforce has been slowing down its acquisition mode stated the Best Salesforce Partners. This is thanks to pressure from investors to integrate current platforms that have been acquired plus stress from investors on profits. There is now an AI arms race underway for market domination, acquisitions are an easy road for the big players which also provides them with ready-to-use talent at hand.
