Salesforce CRM has just launched its own streaming service. Aptly named Salesforce+, It will host live and on-demand content for every profile, vertical and line of business, in a centralised place. Salesforce+ content will consist of live experiences, original series, podcasts, and other programming. With riveting tales, thought leadership and professional advice, Salesforce+ will shine the future of technology in the digital-first, remote working environment and energise the many many in the Salesforce community to pick up novel skills, dive into new career opportunities, and be the change that they want to see in the world.
As per Sarah Franklin, President and Chief Marketing Officer, Salesforce - “We’re not going back, we’re creating the future now. Just as brands like Disney, Netflix and Peloton have done with streaming services for consumers, Salesforce+ is providing an always-on, business media platform that builds trusted relationships with customers and a sense of belonging for the business community.”. Salesforce Studios has created and produced the primary / main content for Salesforce+ and is expanding its team of writers and editors to create unique content for viewing. In the near future, Salesforce+ will launch lots of original content featuring leaders in fields like sales and service, as well as a new series on how Salesforce community members from underrepresented communities (such as minorities) re-skilling for new professional beginnings are.
The first set of programming includes the following:
Leading Through Change - launched in March 2020. It is a weekly show focusing on how industry tycoons are dealing with the ongoing Covid - 19 crisis. With over 60 episodes, the series has had over 700 million views so far.
Connections - It showcases dynamic marketers from brands such as IBM, Levi’s, and GoFundMe. The COVID-19 pandemic has led to marketing strategies etc topsy turvy and current tactics redundant. Exciting program for those in the marketing domain to watch and learn from their peers.
The Inflection Point - It is a show that features leaders from big brands such as Coca-Cola, PayPal, Honeywell, and Workday sharing their personal lives, professional influences and values inform their leadership. Boss Talks - This is a career advice series hosted by Salesforce’s Chief Philanthropy Officer Ebony Beckwith and inspirational in nature. With accomplished guests from a wide range of industries, it is meant to energise all to be successful in life, career etc.
