SALESFORCE CERTIFICATION - B2B SOLUTION ARCHITECT

As crucial bridge between business and technology, a B2B Solution Architect should have adequate knowledge and experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Revenue Cloud, Field Service, B2B Commerce, and Marketing Cloud – as well as other skills such as ERP integrations. Simply put, a Salesforce B2B Solution Architect makes multi-cloud solutions on the Salesforce Platform that fuel individualized, frictionless B2B client experiences that increase commercial value.

Instead of being singularly focussed on specific products, B2B Solution Architects read up on use cases such as “Cart to Quote”, “Field Service Lifecycle”, “Asset Lifecycle Management”, which span multiple Salesforce products.

To sit for this certification, one needs to be with an Application Architect certification. There 4 certifications that one requires in order to achieve Application Architect and be eligible for B2B Solution Architect. They are:

Data Architecture and Management Designer - For the designer who evaluates the architecture environment/requirements and creates good, scalable and performant solutions on the Customer 360 platform.

Sharing and Visibility Designer - For the designer who evaluates the architecture environment/requirements and designs good, scalable, and high-performing technical solutions on the Salesforce Platform that meet sharing and visibility security requirements

Platform Developer I - The minimum credential for any salesforce development professional.

Platform App Builder - Data modelling best practices and application building know-how to build a unified View of the client supported by different clouds.

Note - You don't need to get these credentials in any specific order/ sequence – Just acquire them over time and you will be eligible for the B2B Solution Architect.
