FUTURE ROLE OF AI IN SALESFORCE

The emergence of new technologies in the rapidly changing times leads to mixed emotions – fear as well as excitement. The fear that people have that AI will take away jobs is palpable and very real. Certain jobs will go, some will be enhanced, and so on. We need to take a nuanced view and not give into speculation or rumor-mongering. In today’s blog, we as Salesforce platinum partners are looking into the future and seeing how AI will be marking its presence in the life of Salesforce personnel.

Below are our predictions as Salesforce platinum partners for AI in the Salesforce universe:

• AI skills will be mandatory. Professionals will use AI tools to help themselves in their own technical Salesforce roles, executing AI functionality on the Salesforce org, besides assisting users using Sales and Service GPT. With the many tools in our tech stack to work and support ourselves, reliability and privacy are needed to be kept in mind all the time by everyone who works in any industry, in any profile. Two Salesforce products everyone working in this expanding universe needs to be familiar with to address these needs are the Salesforce AI Cloud and Prompt Studio. AI is here to stay and if professionals want to stay relevant and keep their jobs, learning AI skills is a mandate. Ship up or ship out as the old English proverb goes.

• Human Experience has no substitute. Salesforce professionals utilise ChatGPT to curate validation rules, Apex Triggers, Lightning Components, etc, etc. However, no one will use an output without its validation. Am I right?  And yes, validation calls for experience. This is not something that AI or any tech tool can bring to the table. This is where professionals who work for Salesforce platinum partners have an edge.  These are tough times for freshers entering the Salesforce universe with Salesforce Global Partners, or basically, all tech ecosystems where ChatGPT is being utilised. Do not get dependent on generative AI at the start of your career or else it will prove detrimental, as the requirement to comprehend the outputs may not be honed.

• AI assistants will be a reality. AI assistants for Salesforce professionals in Top Salesforce Partners is coming soon – watch this space. ChatGPT has revealed what this assistant is capable of doing. e.g.  Make Apex code, validation rules, or list the process to create a flow. Productivity AI tools may be omnipresent in our lives soon, whether you work with Salesforce platinum partners or not.

• Salesforce users in Salesforce platinum partners will be happy.  As AI on the Salesforce platform grows, and new features will remove manual work from the lives of users, happiness & productivity will see an uptick. The compounding impact of AI and its potential to influence on a wide scale is pretty incredible. With higher productivity, reduced finances, and higher ROI, we are looking at a brighter future for the Salesforce universe, Salesforce platinum partners, and the business world at large.
