In this day and age, generating leads which are potential converts to clients is a mighty tough job with so much competition in the market.   • Understand your client base better. With all the tech tools at disposal and data collated, analysis and study of the information at hand is very effective in molding strategy. Your marketing outreach programs can be relevant and personalized. This will increase lead generation and god willing convert into the much-needed sales and boost in company revenues. 

  • Smart automation. Some of the smart strategies include automation of mundane tasks allowing the human team members to focus on important tasks. Chatbots are an excellent example of automation and machine learning which help in lead generation via easy customer service & support. They are the first line of web interaction and are geared towards driving leads to the right departments/personnel who will use their data & experience towards relevant engagement and customer support. 

  • Multimedia messaging. Attract the younger generation of leads and potential clients by embracing multimedia messaging in a big way. People are more drawn to short videos, live streaming, webinars, and so on.  Adopt tech and make it work for you. Post them on social media platforms on a regular basis, be it Facebook, Instagram or Twitter. Gain traction, followers, and hopefully leads. 

  • Social media.  Every company worth its salt is now on social media as that is where a lot of leads are being generated. Your posts should be concise, simple, relevant, and clear with striking images and catchy videos. Post regularly and indulge in soft selling. Messaging on social media should be informative. Period.  

  • Social selling. A great way for lead generation is social selling which means simply the ability to buy directly from the social media channel where one sees a product or service, instead of being diverted to another medium for the purchase part. For example, if I see soap on the Facebook page of an ayurvedic company, it should have the option of purchase there and then, without being diverted to another site, etc. This is social selling and is becoming big now the world over. 

  • Analytics and tracking for better understanding. Study your processes, strategy, method, and data to see what is working and what is not. Fine-tune the nuts and bolts to make everything work towards lead generation.
